QUEEN NIGERIA - A TRULY NIGERIAN BEAUTY PAGEANT

Queen Nigeria is a truly Nigerian Beauty Pageant celebrating beauty and the rich fundamental cultural and moral values of the contemporary Nigerian woman.

As the first truly indigenous beauty pageant, the Queen Nigeria Beauty pageant seeks to redefine our somewhat distorted view of African beauty by focusing on:

• Defining the true cultural values of the African woman 
• Celebrating beauty as the wholeness of a person’s character, brains and physical beauty 
• Inspiring cross generations into embracing African values
• Showcasing Nigeria’s rich culture to the world 
• Celebrating Nigerian wearable arts, fashion and music 
• Celebrating our diversity in a friendly and convivial atmosphere 
• Establishing a truly national competition 

The pageant is organised by Famford Enterprise Limited in partnership with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and TV Enterprises. 

The core of the pageant focuses on physical, mental, emotional, psychological, social and emotional values as true definition of beauty.
The activity packed week-long event covers a photo shoot, tourism & historical experiences, elocution and poise classes, beauty treatments, talent competition, cooking competition and ends with a grand finale night where the Queen is selected. 

The Queen Nigeria pageant was deliberately designed to exclude a swimsuit section so that it would be accepted by ALL Nigerians regardless of tribe and religion thereby stamping the winner as the authentic Nigerian Beauty Queen.
